Title VI Policy


CTrail Shore Line East operates its programs and services without regard to race, color, or national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a Title VI complaint.

Complaints may be filed directly to the Connecticut Department of Transportation or to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). Complaints must be filed in writing and signed by the complainant or a representative and should include the complainant’s name, address, and telephone number or other means by which the complainant can be contacted. Complaints must be filed within 180 days of the date of the alleged discriminatory act.
